PRO-plans!!!

I love being organized and having a plan for everything that I do. It's the way I stay focused, prepared, and confident. Writing lesson plans help me to have an idea of what I hope to do in the classroom and also supports the fact that I have taken the time to prepare for each lesson. Even though I know that I will not complete each day exactly the way that I planned to, as I tend to think of new ideas or have to adapt to changes or interruptions in each lesson, which change everything. I am PRO-planning because it helps set a route to success for each scholar.

As a person who is very detailed and organized, I find lesson plans very useful. There have been times when I have come to class without plans and it was probably the most stressful time ever. Lesson plans are a great road map/guide for the day/week. Not only does it provide with me a road map, it also helps me keep track with the materials that will be needed for the lesson.

Lesson Plans

To me, there are both pros and cons to lesson plans. The pros about lesson plans is that it keeps the teacher structured and organized and it allows the teacher to fully think about their plans before they teach the lessons. However, lesson plans can be restraining because it leaves no room for to be flex-able and it can create confusion when you have several classes to teach. Overall, lesson plans to me are necessary because it keeps the teacher thinking progressively and rigorously when planning to teach content.  J Thompson

Lesson Plan Thoughts

Wowwwwwww!!!!!! Lesson planning it helps to have a plan, there is so much that can be said about planning for your students and yourself. Lesson planning requires thinking about everyone "differentiation" of course. It's not good to always try to recreate the wheel, but using others ideas to help assist you to plan is helpful. Remember teachers are trust worthy individuals we don't steal we take loans.
